In terms of advantages, learning can be easier than before. First, various genres of programs are provided on YouTube, where children can experience culture differences, gain abundant knowledge, and learn a second language. For instance, BBC offers meaningful and educational programs and Discovery Channel is a popular source for observing wild animals. Second, these programs are digital recorded, which can be replayed at any time or anywhere without limitation. Moreover, children no longer bring heavy printed books because this educational knowledge can be stored in lightweight iPads. Thus, it is possible that reducing the carbon dioxide by utilizing these tools.

However, improper using technology has adverse impacts on individuals or even society. Recent studies have implied that our younger generation is addicted to Instagram or TikTok, where they waste time because pursing just more likes or spotlights. It is undeniable that these kinds of platforms have distracted us, which make us spend less time on our families or friends. Furthermore, misinformation as well as fake news is full on the Internet and there are more and more cyber issues in recent years such as hacking, phishing and Internet fraud. Governments or authorities should take measures to tackle these problems or discuss with the specialists to mitigate the impacts. For instance, anyone who spread misinformation should be sent into jails. For personal aspect, setting a time restriction on apps would be an efficient way to manage the time.

In conclusion, there are several benefits on computers and mobile phones, such as learning educational programs, experiencing culture or wild animals. Nevertheless, technology has its drawbacks on misinformation, addiction or scam. If we utilize these tools well, in my opinion, I believe the pros can /will outweigh its drawbacks.
